“Open Early! excellent gardens”
Reviewed July 3, 2013

We stopped by before our flight out.
As the building is open at 8:30, its one of the earliest attractions. Gardens are impressive. the history of the smithsonian is interesting in its own right.

“Huge and Old”
Reviewed July 3, 2013

The red brick buildings are very easy to spot on the mall. This place is huge and has many parts so it's a good idea to go to the website first and find out what areas you want to focus on.

“Beautiful building, but.....”
Reviewed July 3, 2013

The castle was beautiful on the outside, but not much to see on the inside. I was expecting a little more of such a historical landmark.

We loved the "Castle" and its surroundings. The gardens are beautiful. Many interesting displays and exhibits were available for free.
