My 10 year old granddaughter had a great time, but was SO disappointed the "ruby slippers" were not in residence. They were on loan to the UK.

Didn't love the American History (except the First Lady's dresses) but all the other museums were fantastic!

“Amazing”

There are several Smithsonian museums to choose from. It doesn't matter which ones you go to, they are all fantastic! And free! I only had three days - couldn't get to them all.

“Great experience visiting that Institution”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 5, 2012

I found this building a special one, not only by its architecture but also by his special colour. Very impressive and good to know for everybody who want to visit that whole complex, that the Smithsonian presents the astonishing record of American historical, cultural and scientifique achivements. Here is something for everyone who is interested in art, science, history, culture. Need time and patient to see everything and enjoy them. Beautiful!!!

“World-Renowned Museums”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 5, 2012

We loved the National Museum of the American Indian and its fantastic food court. The museum is beautifuly done, inside and out. Visiting the National Gallery of Art and seeing actual paintings I had only seen in pictures was a dream come true.
