“Good food not the cheapest!”
Reviewed August 22, 2012

We were staying in Chinatown & we decided to choose the first restaurant that we could find that looked as though it was clean and one that you could actually see through the window. I had chicken szechuan style & my wife had chicken with black bean sauce. The food was delicious, the service was efficient if a little abrupt. The tanks at the back of the restaurant, filled with lobsters, crabs & an unidentiied fish were a little 'old school' but overall an enjoyable meal.

“Real good, and nice staff”
Reviewed August 21, 2012

Came during weekday lunch hour. Had the kung pao chicken. Real good, seemed fresh. CHEAP!!!! It was $6 for lunch w/rice and soup. Can you beat that for Chinatown, DC. Located right near the Gallery metro.

“Good Food, Good Prices”
Reviewed July 7, 2012

We had a late lunch after visiting D.C. tourist attractions. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The menu was very large. Our dishes were all excellent, with very generous portions.
We saw several oriental families who spoke in their native language. Our server was very friendly, frequently checked to see if everything was all right, and kept our water glasses filled.
We would definitely visit again!

“A funny name but good food”
Reviewed June 5, 2012

This restaurant is a few steps away from the Gallery Place/Chinatown metro station. The area has a lot of people that loiter about but this is a great restaurant to visit when you go there. The food portions are a bit larger than I was expecting but the cashew chicken is really, really good.

“Very tasty food, nice staff”
Reviewed March 25, 2012

Just couldn't resist trying this place based on the name and we like very authentic foods. The dishes we ordered tasted great. I have to give it an average rating though. The spareribs were delicious but very fatty. The fish dish was also very delicious but very full of bones, so it was difficult to eat. A bit pricey too. The hot and sour soup was very good. The staff were very nice and friendly. All of the food being brought to other tables looked really good. Overall a good experience.
