“Had an awful time”
Reviewed October 2, 2012

Maitre de was rude. Pretentious place. Extremely loud. Were handed the bill, the minuted we were done eating, we had not even finished our drinks. Never again! Only our waiter was nice.

“I could eat here every day.”
Reviewed September 9, 2012

this place was a real treat. I didn't think a California Roll could really rock my world anymore but theirs did. I also recommend the rice bowls--perfect lunch!

“Kimchi Hotdog”
Reviewed August 2, 2012

White elegant interior and so glamorous. Aren't we? The food is good despite the hype look of this place. The kimchi hotdog was more gimmick and served with a real sausage rather than a skinny dog.

“Elegant Dining with an Unuusal Japanese Menu”
Reviewed August 1, 2012

After spending a few nights in Washington, we went searching for a quiet restaurant where we could eat a memorable meal and still be able to hear the conversation at our table! We found the perfect place at SEI where the menu included "Kobe Sliders" and "Wasabi Guacamole". We started with those two dishes and also ordered Korean Kalbe Tacos made with barbequed short ribs! In addition to these unusual but exceptionally delicious dishes, they also had great specialty rolls. We decided to sample one of their desserts and had Miso orange bread pudding with soy ice cream. It was subtle in it's flavor and again added to a very unusual dinner that was not what we were expecting but left us feeling very satisfied! The food was great and their prices were surprisingly reasonable.
