“Wonderful”

Great place to go. Very large and outstanding. Went some years ago when the hope diamond was on display. Everyone was so crowed around it that it made looking at the massive and beautiful mineral collection Easier to look at haha.

“If you can only do a few museums, make this one of them”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 22, 2014

Loved everything about this place. The exhibits, the information, and the attention to detail. Avoid the overpriced cafe. Food is nothing new or interesting, and you can do much better at the outside vendor carts.

“Great for kids”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 22, 2014 via mobile

If you've been to the one in New York City then you'll be disappointed here specially if you're expecting the dinosaurs. Nothing much here though they said they will open in November 2014.The good part is, it's for free! it's still interesting though.

“I love Science!!!!”

This place was awesome! I have visited several Natural History Museums, and this may have been the best. There was so much to see, I don't really think we got to all of it. But I was excited that I got to see some artifacts unique to the Smithsonian that I always wanted to see.

“So much to see, could take 2 days”

This was our first stop on our trip to DC. I loved going to this museum as much as my kids did. There is something for everyone there! Make sure you stop at this museum.
