“Fun place”
Reviewed March 27, 2014

This place is great for families/kids - it's set up to be accessible and interesting for the large school groups that go on field trips there.
I would skip it if you're just an adult looking for a something to do to on the Mall as it's extremely crowded and meant for kids.

“Great museum”
Reviewed March 27, 2014

The museum was very interesting but a little too crowded. It was my teenage daughter's favorite place we visited.

The cafeteria so overpriced, so eat before you visit.

“Fascinating”

Some of my favorite exhibits include the dinosaurs and the human evolution sections. I was not a fan of the butterfly exhibit.

“Favorite museum”
Reviewed March 26, 2014

This was my favorite museum. As well as my 17 year olds. The collection of fossils is impressive. It's a don't miss if your traveling with any age children.

“Fabulous Museum”
Reviewed March 26, 2014

I was pleasantly surprised at how much we all liked the Museum of Natural History. My ipod boys (ages 13 and 15) were completely engaged in the three exhibits that we saw. The exhibit - Genome: Unlocking Life's Code was excellent. The boys also wanted to see the dinosaur from Night at the Museum which was labelled in the room. We all really enjoyed the Gem exhibit and the Hope Diamond plus other rare gems..too many to recount, but all amazing. This is definitely a museum we would return to again if we came back to DC. Warning..it is crowded.
