If you love museums, YOU HAVE TO SEE THIS. Their collections are soooo amazing. The short films shown very good and the different sections exhibition was very interesting. The only downside, you will have to block off the whole day if you want to see all the exhibits, but you won't regret it though.

Great exhibits - with some you'll see no where else. Very impressive!

As an adult with no children, the droves of families with very small children made my trip to this museum a little less than enjoyable. I had visited once before, but I didn't remember there being so many kids. There were tons of great exhibits but it was really hard to appreciate it all with a stroller on your heels or an unsupervised child right under your feet. If there was a child-free day here, I would definitely love to come back then.

We saw the Imax film called Tornado Alley and that was a huge disappointment! We had already seen it on the Discovery Channel! You would think that if you are paying to see something at the museum that it would not have been shown to the world already! Why charge then? The free exhibits are amazing but when you have 2 teenagers that watch Discovery Channel and Discovery Science on TV all the time - there basically was nothing new for them to learn! Unfortunately you end up eating downstairs in the food court as you do get hungry and thirsty and there is no choice - and the food is real canteen type - you best to eat before you go!

We mistakenly assumed there was no food available inside, so we had us some fast food at the stand outside. Oops. There is a nice cafteria and ice cream stand in the basement! We watched a 3D imax movie which blew our kids' minds. The bathrooms were very clean. The butterfly exhibit cost money. There was a fossil hunt set up for the kids with plates of little gravel and the kds would find stuff and the people working there would identify them. A very nice time, and close to the metro.
