“Great Tribute!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 16, 2013

This is located on the National Mall not far from the Lincoln Memorial. We visited here recently whilst doing a tour of the National Mall and found the memorial to be a fitting tribute to the many lives sacrificed during this conflict!

It is a worthwhile visit and gives one the opportunity to be mindful of those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice in the defense of freedom.

The monument is impressively constructed bearing the names of those who died. It is a very worthwhile visit in any season when in DC.

“Very Humbling, Makes You Appreciate Those Who Gave Their Lives for Your Freedom”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 15, 2013

Of all the war memorials in Washington DC, this one spoke to me the most. It is very simple, but very poignant. Seeing the names of each soldier who gave his life for our country puts their sacrifice in perspective and the great lengths that all of our service members go to to protect our freedom.

“Very respectful emotional experience!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 15, 2013

My dad was in the Vietnam war and my ex-wife is from South Vietnam. I love Vietnam culture, people, food and the country views. I was in DC visiting an old friend and wanted to see the wall. I am normally not an emotional guy, but this moument got me. I love my freedom and respect anyone who is willing to risk their life in order to protect my freedom and country. Thank you for your service men and women of the armed forces.

“Moving, Emotional, Respectful”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 14, 2013

To walk through this memorial is so very moving, and emotional. The memorial sort of slowly comsumes you as you stroll past the hundreds of names of the fallen as you get deep and deeper along the wall. Very moving and everyone is so very respectful while paying their respects here. Certainly a place everyone ought to visit while in DC
