It is nice to visit and contemplate this tragic event in our US history. It was nice of the designers to organize the names of soldiers in a book alphabetical that told you the location of the soldier.

Very touching and well done. The "V" with the names is moving as well as the Men in he garden. Very close to the Lincoln Memorial.

Awe inspiring and not to be missed. The location of the wall (check where each end lines up), the ordering if the names (not alphabetical), the mirror imaging all add to a truely great monument to honor those who lost their lifes or are missing in action in Vietnam. Will definitely bring a tear to your eye.

We were there on Father's Day, so there were many people laying flowers and crying. The number of names on the remembrance walls is staggering and makes one realise how many lives were touched by this war. Although not a happy place to visit, if you were alive at the time of the war and are visiting Washington, you should add this to your schedule. It is within easy walking distance of the Lincoln Memorial.

What a wonderful place to visit and reflect upon the lives of so many people during a very difficult war in Vietnam. It took a long time after the war to erect the wall and pay tribute to the soldiers who fought but so glad to have the opportunity to give thanks today.
