Owner description: Emotionally stirring memorial pays tribute to the men and women who served in one of America's most controversial wars.

I've been to the memorial several times and am always moved. We were told by our tour bus driver that they intend to open a welcome center and display all the items people have left over the years. I think that's a great idea.

My husbands dad served in Vietnam and he doesn't talk much about the war. We were able to sketch some names off the wall (pencil & paper provided onsite) of men that served with him but didn't make it back. We are truly blessed to have men serve our country. Must visit!

A very poignant tribute to those who've perished. The psychology behind the memorial's architectural design is very poiwerful. A must see.

The Vietnam memorial is a must see. It was one of the top sites my husband and I needed to see while visiting. There is nothing else like it. Seeing all those names.. very emotional..

The black granite with the casualty lists inscribed by date of death is really quite overwhelming. A former veteran was there helping explain the wall to onlookers and really helped us understand just how horrific this conflict was.
