It's very impressive.

Not sure what else to say, if you're planning a trip to DC dont swing by the Lincoln Memorial you've missed out.

Always seeing other people's photo's of this great memorial, it was on my bucket list for many years and finally it became a reality. This beautiful monument is situated at the end of the Mall, but it being a lovely sunny winters day, there were crowds of people. Very beautiful on the inside and great history! If you are unable to climb those stairs, you can take the old elevator up to the chamber and see Lincoln himself! It is also nice to just sit on the ledge on the back of the monument and plane watch! Definetly recommend!

It was a cold, windy night but I am so glad I went. What a beautiful tribute to a man who did what only he could do. Thank you President Lincoln.

This is a very large memorial with a huge Lincoln sitting on a chair. There are some of his quotes around the walls. There is an exhibit down under the statue. From the front is an excellent view back down to the monument and Capitol building.
