“Five Hours Was Not Enough!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 16, 2014

The Newseum is six floors of extraordinarily well done exhibits. Some are interactive, some are fascinating historical readings, and many are very interesting documentaries or arrangements of newsreels or movie segments. The Pullitzer Prize-winning photos and their histories were fascinating and very moving. The Cox First Amendment Gallery was educational. The 9/11 Gallery was very powerful. Tears are streaming as I write this. You will come away with a new admiration for and appreciation of journalists and photo-journalists, their incredible dedication and courage in pursuit of the truth and our right to know about it.

“Fantastic museum!”

This is a very unique, well-designed museum. The exhibits were interesting and informative and it was totally worth the price of admission. I'd highly recommend the Newseum to anyone visiting DC.

“Worth paying for!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 16, 2014

Majoring in journalism and having worked in news stations, this was the place for me! I found it so interesting that by the time my party was ready to leave, I was only halfway through the museum. It is somewhere I would love to go back and spend a good portion of my day.

If you have children, they would enjoying it as well. The museum is very interactive! I would take anyone I know there because of how awesome it is!

“Best Museum in DC”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 16, 2014

Honestly, this is the once place I tell everyone to go in DC. There are tons of great museums in DC (Crime and Punishment, Spy Museum, etc) and all of the amazing free options of the Smithsonian. But honestly, the Newseum is amazing. With parts from the WTC, the Berlin wall, papers from around the world, here you'll find a collection of exhibits you'll never see elsewhere. Everything is fascinating, and you'll end up never seeing as much there unless you spend the whole day.

Sure there is a cost, but it's well worth the price.
