Great museum. We were not able to visit through the entire museum. Great lay out and great stuff. Can return the following day for free. Go!

“Very compelling, must see!”
Reviewed March 4, 2014

I was in DC for a short business trip and had some extra time to kill. I had wanted to visit the Newseum so off I went.
I really didn't know what to expect, but I had high expectations from what I had heard. The Newseum didn't disappoint. We spent several hours their and every minute was fascinating. The history of news and the media was presented in very imaginative compelling ways.
The front pages through history were great, I could have spent a lot more time looking at just that exhibit. The 9/11 exhibit was moving and well presented.
I look forward to another visit. I definitely didn't see it all. I highly recommend this attraction to anyone visiting DC.

“All news you want in one place”
Reviewed March 4, 2014

It is one of the best places for news lovers - you can get from current/live to archived news items. It is a fascinating place with so much historical news. You can spend all day. If you are rushing thru the city as a visitor, this may not be the best place since you wouldn't be doing justice to the place or the entry fee. alow at the least 4 hours

We spent a whole day here. The introductory tour is a must as it helps you get a good orientaton of the overall museum. This place is a must for any history buff.

Wish I would of had about 4 more hours to spend there! Really liked the room full of newspapers and the 9/11 exhibit was very moving.
