“Newseum is a great stop in DC”
Reviewed October 2, 2013

It is one of the few museums in the city that are not free. Around $23 each, but worth every cent. Plan on a few hours. Everything news worthy in the last one hundred years. Impressive display about JFK and Jackie.

“Informative and great to look at”
Reviewed October 1, 2013

The newseum is fantastic - it's full of information and history about all types of issues that have effected us around the world since print media began. The exhibits are fantastic and you could definitely spend two days in the newseum if you were really interested in history and media. I was a couple of weeks' too early for the Anchorman exhibit but I loved the JFK and Jackie exhibits, which looked great and told their stories really well. Highly recommend this place to anyone.

“"News"worthy Museum!”
Reviewed October 1, 2013

This museum has a wealth of information and provides a vivid and unique perspective on the history of cultures and events in the history of the US, from a variety of views internationally. The availability of artifacts, publications and media connected to any and every major event in our history is mind-boggling. Even the dogs of the presidents are featured!!
The cost of this museum is a bit hard to swallow when so many museums are free, but it needs to be seen once if you visit the DC area.
For those who revel in the major historical events of our country, this is an up close and personal look at those events, through the eyes of those who lived them!

“Great museum! A must visit in Washington, DC”
Reviewed September 30, 2013

I was surprised about how much you can learn from visiting this attraction. It is very interesting, not boring and it has all kind of exhibitions. I was there x two hours and i am sure i will be back because there is more to see. There is a fee, but is is worthy!

“So informative, well presented, balanced”
Reviewed September 29, 2013

Always an interesting museum worth visiting. Features excellent visiting exhibitions. Covers the news business very fairly and well. Exhibits of difficult events eg. 9/11 sensitively and well presented. Suitable for older children as well. Very good shop.
