“Nice additiion to D.C,”

It's an interesting concept in museums. For the most part we enjoyed it and to us the best exhibit was the 9/11. There's footage we'd never seen before and it makes you feel a part of that tragic day. The remnants of the T.V. tower which sat on top of one of the destroyed buildings is on display too. It is very moving. There's also an exhibit devoted to world journalists who died while performing their jobs. It's very sobering to realize that these people put themselves in harms way to record historic world events and were killed or died while doing it. We recommend seeing this museum to fully appreciate the power of journalism in our world.

“Not free but worth visiting”
Reviewed July 31, 2013

If your are into the history of the news reporting and newspapers then you want to see this place. They have a lot of material and evidence from the JFK murder and also a lot of stuff from the unibomber and other FBI cases. The 4D theater didn't impress me very much, but it was still worth seeing. the ticket is good for two days so if you don't see it all in one day you can go back the next day.

“Visually Stunning and Informative!!!”
Reviewed July 31, 2013

The Newseum has a fee, but it's worth every penny. The amount of information chronicling a multitude of events, complete with stunning photography that captured those events is thoroughly entertaining. The Tim Russert exhibit was a fitting tribute and was very moving. I would recommend this attraction to those with children, due to the interactive, hands-on exhibitions throughout the building. There is plenty of information and artifacts to stimulate visitors of any age. Overall, a great experience and well worth the fee.

“If you love journalism you will love this”

It is a great museum but you will have to pay for it. I always hesitated to go to this museum because of the cost but it was really worth it. Great museum experience.
