Hey, I get it, free is good. And DC is loaded with plenty of Free Museums. But sometimes, it is better to spend a little dough. My husband, son and I loved Newseum. He got to be a real reporters, we combed through the newspapers for the last two hundred years, the headlines gave me chills. Seeing odd ball things like Ted Kozintsky's shed, I can't believe they had it was totally goody and weird. And the antennae from the World Trade towers.. it was all thoughtful and well curated. I wish we had a smidge more time. Plan to be there for at least 3 hours to really enjoy your time. But if you have only 90 minutes it is still great.
