“Gorgeous Views!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 4, 2010

The views on the tour are incredible. The lake is huge. There are many islands in the lake that people live on. There is a cool beach and neat shops along a board walk. You can take a cruise on a ship or a train ride around the lake.

“Good day for a lake cruise!!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 9, 2009

Went to this lake while on vacation in Sept 2008. Weirs Beach is a rather "tourist" place, but at this time was practically deserted of tourists. Took the 2 hour lake cruise on the M/V Mt Washington. The narrator was excellent, and the food bar was super. As the day was chilly, I chose to sit below deck, which was empty as all the brave souls were top-deck. Endless photo opportunities of the lake and towns dotting the shoreline.. I highly recommend this cruise for everyone; its a perfect way to spend a day in this wonderful state.

“A beautiful getaway”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 14, 2008

I traveled to Lake Winnipesaukee for a Summer weekend during my time in Boston. I recommend this place for anyone looking to escape the crowds of Cape Cod. It's a huge, beautiful lake with a family atmosphere. The prices should be a bit more affordable than the Cape as well.

“memories of a beautiful state and spot!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 1, 2003

I've taken the train ride twice and loved every minute of it as well as taking the boat ride three diffe-rent times which lets people know how the people on the islands in the lake during the warmer months live and how they get their supplies as well as mail and getting to/from their destinations inland! I vacat-ioned here with my parents and two sisters when growing up and it really made a lasting memory of being in such a grand open area! I love that state more than most here in the northeast and it's state next door to the east is my other attraction as I love the mountains, lakes and ocean as well as covered bridges, lighthouses, waterfalls, historic sites and old train-trolley rides which my son and I have been on all trolley rides in new england and half of the train rides and will continue to do so and the beauty of the state will keep luring me back each year!
