“Boating on Lake Mead - Must Do”
Reviewed August 15, 2014

We have done this 5 years in row now and had great experiences each time. We have rented the pontoon boat each time and find them spacious, well maintained, and fun. You can boat up to Hoover Dam, the water is warm, and there are many little coves where you can drop anchor , enjoy the scenery, and swim for hours.

“Lake Mead delivers!”
Reviewed August 11, 2014 via mobile

When you're looking for peace and quiet away from the Las Vegas Strip, head to Lake Mead. When I was there, it was so quiet and there were very few other people, so it was really peaceful. Head to the Lake Mead Marina and see the amazing fish by the boardwalk. Then make for the visitor centre and walk down to the lakeside. The panoramic view is simply breathtaking. No slot machines, no noise, just a piece of Heaven.

“Great day out”
Reviewed August 7, 2014

Went to Lake Mead Boat Harbour for my wifes 30th birthday. Great experience, we hired a patio boat which was big enough for about 10 people and 2 jet skis. Staff were all very helpful and friendly. We made the mistake of staying out a little too long on the jet skis, (I was looking for the Hoover Dam, went completely the wrong direction!) and they did not make us pay any extra. Unfortunately we'd made other plans otherwise we'd have stayed longer, we'll definitely be back!

“A very informative information centre.”
Reviewed August 6, 2014

This is a great and very informative information centre and from the centre you get amazing lake views. It has a small shop/info centre and toilets. A must if you are in the area.

“Water gets lower every year”
Reviewed August 5, 2014 via mobile

Every year lake mead water levels continue to drop to all time lows for each year. The marina located closest to boulder city, keeps getting pushed out because of the water levels. The park is so nice, I have taken the trials that led you through a couple of old train tunnels to hoover dam. If you get the chance to bike or hike, I strongly recommend. I tend to stay away from the water on holidays, it will be packed with people who like to boat drunk. I can't tell you how many people lost their lives from not wearing a life jacket. However, if in vegas, it's a must see.
