“other side of Vegas”
Reviewed August 30, 2013

We visited lake mead after the Hoover Dam. We rent there a boat and a kneeboard. So we had a lot of fun on the lake. The water was very warm and clear. It was also possible to saw the Hoover dam from the boat.

“Just one look, but enough to appreciate the lake's charm”
Reviewed August 8, 2013

Traveling from Las Vegas to Kingman, we stopped in the area. The pause was brief, but enough to appreciate the position of the lake, the landscape of its banks, the contrast between the coolness that it provides and the extreme heat, typical of the desert, in the surrounding area. We regret not having been able to stay longer.

“Lots of places to swim and warm water almost all year long.”
Reviewed August 4, 2013

Listen, forget every bad thing you hear from people about Lake Mead.. Yes it is true that the water is melting by the day, but there is Lake Mead for many years to come.. Deep Lagoons, private coves and not many boats around... Lots of Camping places and the water is warm almost all year long...
