“Biggest falls in Maine!”

Awesome time at Moxie falls. if youre in the Forks area- you must go check it out. Just a short 20 minute walk to see it. I would recommend bug spray and bottled water.

have fun

“Great easy hike”

Very beautiful views on a well maintained trail. Adequate parking. Easy to find. Walking in the shade made it very comfortable. Big spray is a good idea!

“Lovely walk and lovely view”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 18, 2014

The ride to the falls was long but walk to Moxie Falls was only 20 minutes from the parking area. It was a nice, quiet hike with only the birds to make sounds. The falls was absolutely beautiful with different areas where you can walk close to the river to get pictures of the falls then platforms looking out over Moxie Falls and the 90 foot drop. Very beautiful and wonderful experience.

“Easy Walk to Picturesque Falls”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 19, 2014

A fairly easy walk to the falls. Some slippery spots, some muddy areas and lotsa mosquitos so be sure to bring repellant. Beautiful walk through the woods that just about anyone can do--my wife has "bad knees" and she was able to walk the trail without difficulty. Be careful taking the stairs to the falls as they are usually somewhat damp and slippery. There is a wooden platform near the top of the falls which offers a great viewing area. Moxie Falls is the tallest falls in Maine and one of THE most beautiful waterfalls in the New England region. Definitely worth seeing. **There is no entrance fee.
