“Great a Summer day - made want to be a kid again”
Reviewed August 7, 2012

Loved the Lower Falls. You could spend the whole day there, especially if you have kids. I sat on the rocks and just enjoyed the sun and the cool water; watching the kids jumping into the falls and the people fishing; and smaller kids trying to navigate the smooth rocks. The parking tends to get crowded as the day progresses. Great picnic area though. The Upper falls was much less crowded. The access to the water is very easy here, and not too deep - great for small kids. Then we saw the 30 foot drop of water -at Middle Falls - that was breathtaking!
Regret not being able to walk along the whole path!! Should make this part of your day,if you are visiting the area.

“Great on a hot summer day. Crowded on weekends. Blissful on Weekdays”
Reviewed August 4, 2012

I really enjoy the lower falls swimming hole - especially on a weekday when it's less crowded. You really get the old-time California mountain feeling. Great on a hot summer day.

“Great picnic spot”
Reviewed July 5, 2012 via mobile

This is a great place for a picnic and walk. The falls are not that spectacular, but the river is pretty. There is parking b lower falls, and lots of of picnic benches, BBQ grills and toilets.

“very impressive”
Reviewed July 17, 2011

I went with my wife, two sons, and my daughter. it was a load of fun. the campsites were really clean and big. the waterfalls were to die for. and my sons even jumped some falls. the middle falls was the most excellent waterfall there. there was plenty of hiking places around the area. also there were plenty of places for fishing. there were no mosquitoes around but uffortunatly there weren't any showers.
