One of the few places on Cuba, where is almost impossible to meet tourists. Been there on our own, spend more than 2 hours driving rented car on bumpy road till we got there. On some potholes we nearly turned back, but we made it.
Our effort was totally worth it, water is crystal clear beach is clean, nature is almost untouched. I have never enjoyed the sun set on the beach more then here.

This is a day not to be missed!

A free bar on the boat, snacks, dancing and the most beautiful scenery as you sail to the island. The two hosts had us in hysterics, had us dancing & gave us the true Cuban vibes we had been craving from our holiday.
We stopped halfway to do some snorkelling, which I had never done before. I went with the beginners instructor and I was able to see beautiful tropical sea life up close for the first time in my life.
The next stop was the island where we had lunch, this was the best food I had all holiday, soup, pasta, salad, meats (for the carnivores) delicious.
Then we had some free time to spend on the beautiful, uninhabited beach, I’ll never forget just how incredible it was.
This trip will always be the image in my head when I think of our Cuban holiday. Fantastic.

all the beaches have something very special, gorgeous waters, sometimes one needs to be the guest and deal with getting around - it's not so simple but take the day to visit the beaches - share a taxi and pay them well $100 - it's worth it!

Beautiful island, impressive wild safari, amazing beach and the charming house on it. A perfect spot to spend the day and watch a sunset. The safari was interesting but in a small jeep it was a lot more dun, i do not recommend the big truck, it is loud and sometimes scares the animals.

we booked a catamaran trip to paradise island;
we were picked up by coach from our hotel at 8.15 am and taken to the harbor to board the catamaran all drinks included and made our way to cayo saetia island
on arriving at the island those not wanting to do snorkeling got off and went to the beach while the rest stayed on and went further along the coast for snorkeling,
after a tasty lunch, it was back to sunbathing before returning to the catamaran
and back to the harbor before the onward journey back to the hotels,
GREAT DAY OUT

Our tour guides Albetrto and Lennin were fantastic - they were full of knowledge and enthusiasm throughout the whole day. During snorkelling with Alberto he showed us different types of coral, sea urchins and even finding some starfish we had a go at holding. Lennin was also offering snorkelling lessons to those who hadnt done it before. We spotted barracuda and a range of tropical fish before moving to deeper water to see some larger, living coral.

The catamaran has lots of space to spread out and sunbath and there was a lovely warm breeze as we sailed across the calm bay. Bring suncream as you really catch the sun on this day! The beaches on the island were beautiful and very peaceful. You had free time to explore the island as you wish so you didn’t have to stay with the tour group all day. Lunch was nice and we enjoyed some yummy pizza slices.

We went with Thomas Cook for this tour and the safari was not included in the tour price for us due to insurance and the old jeeps used for the safari (very bad if no suspension). However, the tour guides were happy to allow us to go on the safari for a cost of 9 peso each of we wanted to and we had a blast! We saw ostrich, buffalo, wild boar, anetleope and another kind of deer I can’t name. The driver knows the land well and called the ostrich right over to our jeep so you could touch it - it was fantastic! We also saw the two iguanas on the island.

If you only do one trip in your holiday, choose this one! If we return to Cuba again we will be doing this tour again.

Lovely place, great snorkelling and a superb lunch in the hillside restaurant. Pure white sandy beaches and very quiet
