This was a recommendation from our guide, and we turned up without a reservation. There are tables on a roof terrace with a good view over the town. The atmosphere is relaxed, attentive and the chef is clearly seriously interested in serving a delicious, if fairly traditional meal. We thought this was the outstanding meal of our 17 day trip to Cuba and unhesitatingly recommend it. Both the the fish and the meat were delicious, flavoursome and nicely presented. We stuck to beer, as the wines in Cuba are far too risky in their quality and overpriced, everywhere! Altogether an excellent experience and an object lesson in what can be achieved in this fascinating country with a bit of care, flare and imagination
