You enter this restaurant through an unassuming wooden door, pass through the owners living quarters, and then enter this amazing terrace, which spans three floors. We were amazed! It was utterly beautiful, and we had the place to ourselves! I hope that this review will prompt more people to seek this place out, as it would be a lovely romantic location for couples, as well as big enough to cater for large groups.
We were a group of 6 and had rung ahead to book and advise the owner that we wanted the seafood selection x5, which was to include red snapper, prawns and lobster. About an hour before our meal, we received a call to advise us that the lobster that the chef had got from the fishermen today was not of a quality they were happy to serve, and therefore the platter would be without lobster, and did we want to cancel. We were super impressed with this honesty, so much so, that we decided to go anyway!
We were glad we did! We had a delicious seafood platter of fish and prawns. I have never eaten so much fish in my life, and it was soooo tasty! And as usual in Paladares, for the basic cost of the meal, we also got a starter of fruit, salad and bread, our main, which was accompanied by rice, potatoes and vegetables, and then icecream! All for about £12 each, including drinks!!!! Just fantastic!!! Go and enjoy it too!!!
