My husband and I stayed at this property for three nights during Cuba's low season as part of a company-led tour. We did not pay fees directly to the hotel nor were we able to take advantage of all the meals and activities offered due to other pre-arranged tour activities.
We have stayed at other all-inclusive resorts in the Caribbean and found the Brisas in Trinidad to be very average. We had a very basic room with two single beds, limited furniture and lighting, and antiquated plumbing. The coffee and breakfast buffet were mediocre at best. Bar service was basic and curt.
Lively entertainment was offered nightly and waiter service was good. We ate one night at a restaurant above the breakfast buffet and had an excellent a la carte meal for four. The beach and resort views are beautiful and the pool was refreshing.
Overall this resort has good bones and potential. As the Cuban economy improves, I expect this hotel to improve as well.More
