Some other travellers recommended this restaurant in Trinidad. They are closed in the day, but the family live there, so if you want to book a table in advance do try knocking on the shutters. What a lovely meal! Sitting in a garden full of hibiscus and bougainvillea, with Cuban music and mohitos, we ordered from the tiny menu (always a good sign). We had the lamb, with sweet potato, salad and lots of little extras, perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious. Their Cuban wine was very good as well, and not too expensive.
