Sol y Mar is a nice casa - our room was good with an enormous ensuite bathroom. The best part of the casa is the veranda with rocking chairs from where you can watch the sunset whilst nursing a cheap mojito from the beach bar across the road (definitely recommended - much cheaper than the Casa's drinks),
The meals were very good and the owner Joaquin was able to find two bikes for us to use for the two days at a reasonable price.
I did like Sol y Mar but can definitely say I've stayed in friendlier casas in Cuba - it felt much more business-like than some we had stayed in and ended up being by far the most expensive. If I returned to La Boca I think I might look at alternatives for that reason only.
