Plaza Mayor sums Trinidad in one square - the romantic French gardens, colourful houses dotted along and the centuries old cathedral. Trinidad looks like someone pressed the pause button in the 18th century and Plaza Mayor, not as the highlight of the town, however a lovely square, gives a good feel of what Trinidad used to be like in it's peak! Makes you believe all those pirate stories!
