The restaurant setting is absolutely stunning; the views are breath-taking. Sadly though, the restaurant environment is is way too clinical, unfriendly and stuffy!

Wow.... What a wonderful place to have lunch. The view is perfect. The menu is market leading and presented like I'm in a 5 star CBD hotel. Honest and charming service. Scallops entree was a treat and the rack of lamb cooked to perfection. These guys really know the true meaning if good food and good hospitality. The local island wines were the appropriate match for our meal. 10/10. A must visit for any discerning traveller to Waiheke Island.

What an amazing setting for a great lunch and some amazing wines. The views from the cafe across the bay towards Auckland are one in a million. Food and matching wine made an excellent afternoon. Cant wait to get back

Every trip to Auckland I have to stop by for lunch at Te Whau , the owner is one of the best wine connoisseur in New Zealand and he also have the best wine cellar also. Excellent food , great view amazing wine. The perfect spot for a nice Sunday lunch. They also have a lodge and would love to stay there in the future

You can not be disappointed with this restaurant...Perched on a hilltop, with vast views over turquoise bays, the restaurant has a relaxed feel. Contemporary design, the menu is innovative and modern ... Snapper was fish of the day..served beautifully, and the duck dish with a slight curry twist and oyster mushrooms was fantastic. It was a test whether to admire the food or view most! A must visit.
