Beautiful place to taste wine from their own wine yards .
The road not so good to reach the place but I went there twice to visit , taste excellent white wine and relax seeing the landscape

“great location for lunch”
Reviewed January 7, 2013

Lovely place just back from a quiet beach at the far SE end of the island, which feels a million miles form anywhere, with a wide veranda and lawns where you can have a platter of meats and cheeses for lunch- a bit overpriced, but ok if not too hungry! We watched a group of adults playing cricket- very relaxing!

“Bliss”
Reviewed January 4, 2013 via mobile

The kids played cricket in the bright sun while we drank and ate in a place almost too picturesque to imagine.

The wine is excellent. The food also.

My only word of caution is that they seem to have less than a full kitchen so the food is limited to platters of bread cheese olives cold cuts and the like. It's a winding drive to get there. It would be easy to drink too much and eat too little so you'd have to wait before you could drive home safely.

“Good, even on a bad day!”
Reviewed January 3, 2013 via mobile

We took the high road past Stony Batter on perhaps one of the worst days (in terms of weather) of the year. A stop off at Man 'o War was well worth the journey. Partly due to the weather and partly due to our visit being mid-week we found ourselves the only visitors. The staff were friendly and attentive and took us through the wine tasting at a pace that was enjoyable - explaining each wine in detail as we went. It would have been nice to stop and have a meal however the menu was limited - we ended up sharing a platter of bread and dips over a glass of our favourite wine. The incredibly beautiful and tranquil setting made this one of my husband and my favourite excursions on Waiheke.

“Great spot to laze away a summer's day”
Reviewed January 3, 2013

A stunning setting on the east coast of Waiheke and a very good place to chill out for a few hours over a long lunch. Having the garden and beach on site makes it a brilliant spot for the kids. It would have been easy to spend an entire day here. The wine struck us as slightly lost in its own marketing though it wasn't without some highlights. For us, the top choice was the Blanc de Blancs fizz, branded as Tulia.
