Myself, my wife, and 2 adult kids stayed here for one night in February 2014. This is one of the few places I could find in Picton with 2 bedrooms for 4 people. Kent, the owner, was very friendly and helpful when we arrived after an 8 hour drive. He even offered to put my wife's wet shoes in his drying room overnight. The rooms were a little dated but very clean for a one night stay. The location was great as it is very close to the ferry terminal which worked for our ferry to Wellington the next am as well as being downtown next to restaurants, grocery stores, etc. They had unlimited internet which was unlike most places in NZ that only have 100 mb. The only complaint I would have is our room had a stove but no pots to boil eggs in. For $200/night, I would stay here again.
