You have to see it. And you will net a waterproof jacket. It is wonderful, the scenery it is so quiet and the great mountains around makes you loose your words. It is amazing and it was the best I have seen on this trip. I booked it in advance and that was good. You will need a good camera and loads of sim cards to make loads of pictures. I will go again.

The history lesson by Richard from Cougar cruises, the dolphins and seals. The bird life. Lunch at Furneaux Lodge was excellent. Walk to the waterfall. Strolling around the Lodge. The Sounds themselves were awsome. The beautiful sunny day.

One of the most beautiful waterways in the world the Marlborough Sounds. The 3.5 ferry trip from Wellington to Picton is fantastic, also seeing the bird life, dolphins, with many fishing boats, yachties and pleasure craft through the Marlborough Sounds Kayaking feeding the tame eels or going to one of the many resorts to stay or just for a meal are also some of the many wonderful things you can do. Or walk through the lavish native bush on many of the walks there are as well, especially the Queen Charlotte track. Swim, dive, picnic, something for everyone, to do as much or as little as you want. Don't miss the Marlborough Sounds and Picton when you are visitng
New Zealand..
