Situated on the front at Picton this is a busy cafe with good selection of food and drink. We had local venison and steak both of which were yummy. Sometimes have live music which can be a variable quality! Overall though a pleasant experience and well worth a visit for either a coffee or meal.

15 minuters Waits for à coffee and a smoothie during the day. 50 min Waits for two meals during a slow evening in low seson. Horrible service! The food was not so good, dry and tasteless.

We had a lovely meal there and found the staff and management to be very obliging and attentive. Food was beautifully cooked and presented, and the atmosphere was nice. We liked it so much, we went back the next morning for breakfast. Great location and a nice touch having the owner play the piano and sing!!

Decided to eat here the evening before the ferry. It liked nice and the food looked good. The waitress was at first helpful, she did caveat the serving by saying she didn't work there, but was helping out. All good so far.. but then as it got busier it was very clear that there was not enough staff. We waited over 90 minutes between courses, were on the verge of walking out, when the food appeared at the same time as the staff started to clean up and close up! The lady (who appeared to be the manager) was rude, condescending and very offhand. You get the impression that as the guest's are transient, that the service doesn't count. Very disappointing. Maybe it was a one off looking at the other reviewers....
