“Superb.”
Reviewed March 16, 2014

This was the most interesting and accessible old ship I've seen. Better in some ways than the Mary Rose and the Cutty Sark because it is real and original and you can walk in the hull and 'touch' it.

“Very interesting”
Reviewed March 15, 2014

The movie was very interesting as was all the displays. The highlight was to be able to board the Edwin Fox and have a look around.

“Don't miss it!”
Reviewed March 3, 2014

This is a small museum run entirely through volunteers and enthusiasts. The Edwin Fox is the oldest merchant sailing ship left in the world and it was a priviledge to be able to not only board the remaining preserved hull, but also go right under her where she is placed in dry dock. The museum has a comprehensive film running, telling of her long and chequered history and their are also some fascinating exhibits with good explanations. The member of staff we spoke to was very friendly.

“Excellent slice of world maritime history”
Reviewed March 2, 2014

Though barely rescued before it was too late, the Edwin Fox remains one of the world's maritime treasures. Take the time to at least stop and read the signs on the outside of the building and then visit the museum to learn about the life -good times and bad- of a vessel that is the only one left of its kind in the world and was the trusty work horse of the day.

“Edwin Fox Museum, Picton”
Reviewed February 27, 2014

This is an interesting little museum of the history of the sailing ship Edwin Fox. The relic of the ship are in dry dock adjoining the museum building which is a photographer's dream.
