“A top day in the vineyards”
Reviewed December 27, 2011

We had a top day. As it turned out we were the only ones on on the tour but John our driver was great. Full of information on the local area and was well respected at the vineyards we visited which included wither hills, cloudy bay, johanneshof and our favorite herzog where we had a stunning lunch. A great tour. Thanks John.

“Great introduction into Marlbrough and it's wines!”
Reviewed August 25, 2011

We experienced the half day wine tour during august(winter). Luckily we were blessed with fantastic weather on the day.

The tour guide, Sam, was wonderful. His knoledge of the area and of wines, their growth and distinguishing features was inspiring.

The tour itself went to 5 different vinyards and to a local chocolate factory at the end. My wife was blown away by the chocolate and the assorted food experiences along the way.

Highly recommend this tour to anybody into wine.

“Always a great day”
Reviewed April 24, 2011

My 5th wine tour with Sounds Connection and they've all been great. I did the full day tour with a friend and were joined by others in a bigger mini bus after lunch. We did feel that the 2 hours we had for lunch was too long and would suggest 1 1/2 hours would be ample. Frank was our guide - he was knowledgeable and humourous.
