Second visit in a few months. I booked for four on a Wednesday night for a Sunday dinner - and we were the last booking taken. The restaurant was indeed full - and this despite the fact that it is enlarged. It's good value food and a wine list that is not ridiculously over-priced. It's a pretty good example of an Australian/Italian trattoria with pizza ovens and broader kitchen in full view. Its busy and bustley with good, friendly and efficient service. Serves are generous and food is pretty good (pizzas, pasta, parmigiana, chilli mussels as well as steaks, lamb, fish and chips) for this sort of establishment - let's face it, you don't go here for a gourmet experience, but for a get-together with friends or family over a decent plate of food and a few drinks. If that's what you are after there is nothing not to like. It's right off the cappuccino strip - just behind the iconic Gino's - so absolutely central to the Fremantle scene.
