Right in the heart of Fremantle is this gem.

Live music from around the world, from Mozambique, to India, to the Kimberley to country sounds from WA's South West.

They redecorated a couple of years ago and the bar and performance space is fabulous. Lovely verandah overlooking the action in Fremantle as well.

So grab a table or hit the dance floor for a great evening out.

Thank Waddler

The multicultural art and music centre in the heart of Fremantle at the famous Cappuccino Strip is worth keeping an eye out for and checking what's on the program because the huge variety of international music is quite outstanding. The small first floor venue often has music on the large balcony overlooking the bustling street and just feels good. It has a bar and on special occasions also offers multicultural food. It's above the Dome cafe, so pop in, as I often do.

Went to see a concert here - they have a diverse range of musicians regularly performing throughout the year from many different music genres and cultures. We went to see three performers Jim Fisher, Ian Simpson and Jane Germaine. They were all fabulous and we were surprised just how cheap the tickets were @ only $10. Brilliant value. What's more we were all up close and personal - it is set out in a cafe style so we all sit around small tables and we were right next to the performers. How good was that! It was a lovely intimate atmosphere. It has been refurbished recently apparently and was cosy and comfy without being lavish and this all helped set the ambience of a great night. We have booked to go to another concert already with a completely different group. It is right in the heart of Fremantle, right next to lots of restaurants and near hotels, so a great location. It is upstairs with a balcony looking over South Terrace so you can watch the street go by too! Get there early for the top seats as they aren't allocated. People were queuing in the stree to get in before the doors opened at 8pm. There is a bar and nibbles as well. And to top it off they have a great MC who got us enjoying ourselves before guests had even started! Great fun! It is not a young person's night club but a music club for all ages. Many on the night we were there were aged between 40-65. It all depends on the group who is performing. Highly recommend it.
