Loved seeing the actual wreck of the Bativia as I have been on the replica. Very good admission price of a donation. Friendly staff.

It is worth a visit... if you are interested in this sort of thing. I personally don't get over-excited about museums, but I can appreciate the shipwreck galleries' efforts. You can take a nice walk along the beach to get to the museum. The staff are friendly and keen. It is a good way to spend a couple of hours whilst in Perth/Freemantle. I can't remember the entrance fee but it wasn't expensive.

Some great examples on show here, restored to extremely high quality. Massively impressed with the huge bow of a ship they have on display. A good couple of hours out for marine enthusiasts and passing tourists alike. Donations welcome at the door.

What was meant to be a day of seeing many attractions turned into a one museum day. This place sucks you in and you can't help but start to go and then notice something new. What a great place to visit
