“Great Coffee and muffin”
Reviewed March 15, 2014

Coffee was really good, great place for locals and tourists. Food good, muffin was delicious. The Christmas Craft Markets they run are always worth a visit, a little expensive but you can always pick up something a little different as a special gift for someone.

“Just the best place”
Reviewed March 12, 2014

Always enjoy myself at Freo Arts Centre... they have amazing events there, always good food and ambience!
Dedicated staff that help and guide you through the wonderful art centre building and grounds.
A little slice of the true heart of Freo, that visitors and tourist alike can share.
Do yourself a favour!

“arty farty oasis”
Reviewed March 3, 2014

Very nice building with nice exhibitions and a great shop. I liked the garden, where I read my book under the beautiful large trees as a break from all the walking around in Fremantle. The best time to go is Sunday afternoon, when there is free live music, for young and old to enjoy.

A beautiful building full of contemporary art - not my thing and I was a bit disappointed that there wasn't any Aboriginal art on display. Loved the painted tree. The shop was really interesting but we unfortunately didn't have enough time to meander round all the individual pieces. We may well go back and we'd love to attend a concert in the garden where I expect they have a great atmosphere.

“Best gift shop for miles!”
Reviewed January 2, 2014

Great atmosphere, i would love to come here for a music night or artisan event. The gift shop is terrific. Sorry the fine art just loses me, i must have missed that gene. A painted dried tree is pretty enough but I just don't get it. Having said that, there is something about the atmosphere. I hope you can sometimes see artists, sculptures and potters at work, that would be perfect. We will definitely catch the fair next Christmas, and keep an eye on other events here.
