Superb menu made choosing difficult, traditional dishes rubbed shoulders with modern classics. High ceilings, wood panels and a smart exterior created a real buzz on a virtually full Thursday night on the first floor. Downstairs quieter. Decent wines by the glass. A truly fabulous Steak Tartare was followed by Chateaubriand with clunky fries, white and red cabbage, mushrooms, onions and a poached pear (?). A choice of sauces, peppercorn and mushroom had a very bought in taste but otherwise a big meal well cooked and just what we felt like on a breezy autumn night. 80 Euros for two with a couple of glasses of wine, much cheaper options and a 25 Euro 5 course menu were also available.
