We stayed in the mobile home. Bedding / linens was provided, but we had to pay to rent towels. The mobile home is compact but very functional - you have everything you need. It is a bit of a walk to the train station or to swimming pool - about 20 min. The camping itself is a mix of different accommodation types: places for tents, caravans (RV), mobile homes of different types, bungalows, big tents with multiple bunk beds, etc. Some caravans seem to be parked there forever and even integrated with wooden structures. You can sit and enjoy the view of waterfalls. One of them is even illuminated at night. Swimming pool is 15-20 min walk and you have to pay for it. This is also a great base to go to Shilthorn or Jungfraujoch from.

To be quite honest, in the area there isn't a lot of options for accommodation so I picked Camping Jungfrau. It has a small bar that can be full of teenagers, so the bar down the road (the Horner) is your best bet for a quiet one.

The room I had was quiet small, which I shared with two others that I had not met before. Definately not enough room for three girls and their luggage! However it seems like it is about luck, a few of my friends had larger rooms but paid the same price.

Also the beds we had were a "double" bunk bed, which can be awkward if you were expecting to have a bed to yourself. But again each room was different.

There is a kitchen which is clean and well furnished, showers are free and there is a supermarket and restaurant on site (expensive). However I would stay there again.

This is our favourite campsite - terrific location, great service, not too noisy after 10 p.m., good little restaurant and pizza takeaway, plenty of room between pitches, clean toilets. What's not to like? There is a great circular cable-car/walk/train/bus trek that you can do, which suits all ages - the oldies can hop on the train while the kids and dogs can run along the paths. We haven't found anywhere to match it for keeping kids/grandparents/adults entertained. The Trummelbach Falls nearby are worth a visit, as is Schilthorn if you have plenty of cash. The only downside is that it can be cold at night - make sure you have a decent sleeping bag if camping in May.

We camped here last week for 4 nights. The site is surrounded by the most amazing scenery ever. Our tent was just about flooding on the 2nd night due to slow drainage after rain. We went to explain this to the site management who immediately offered us a mobile home for the night at no extra charge and were insistent that if it didn't improve, they would "find a solution". I have seen British camp site owners face the same issue by shrugging their shoulders and saying "it's your risk when you camp..." so I thought that Camping Jungfrau were great. Fortunately, the tent was 100% dry for us to stay in on subsequent nights and we were blessed with beautiful weather and clear skies. So in summary, I'd recommend not just the stunning location but also the management.

This place is great for most of the things you look for while camping.
Toilets and shower areas are clean and heated! Which is very important in Switzerland, the weather is not always great and the nights are chilly, taking a shower in a heater area makes a big difference.
The location is more than amazing, all the walks suggested by the staff are excellent and the ladies at reception were very helpful, they would give you all the maps and all the info that you need.
There is a shop on the site and a restaurant (probably the best and the cheapest one in the whole valley!), which is more than helpful. Additionally, there's a kitchen that anybody can use to prepare their food, coffee, tea, whatever you need, and eat your breakfasts/dinners at.
The only bad thing for me was the fact that the camping is quite big and you get a lot of people there. We had a lot of teenagers from Contiki Holidays, they were quite loud, doing their make-up in the toilets, drinking and partying. Not everybody would be fine with that, so I thought I should mention that.
All in all, perfect place, perfect location, perfect service!

Breathtaking location, great staff, cute little cabins!
I stayed in a 4 person cabin - they are tiny but everything you need.
The batherooms are a little run if your busting in the morning but that is about the only thing i can say thats not raving about this place! They get warm but you have a cute little zircon which also doubles as a heater for the cold nights. You open up your room to a massive waterfall on one side, a snow capped mountain on the other, and greenery all round. I extended my stay to 7 nights and would reccomend staying at least 4 nights!! And go skydiving!!

You walk around this place with a big grin on your face most of the time, in awe of the 360 landscape.

The location cannot be beaten. The staff are friendly. The restaurant dishes up tasty Swiss favourites to be enjoyed in the chalet style restaurant or to be taken back to your lodge, mobile or tent!

There is a useful on site shop, with all the essentials and a daily supply of fresh bread rolls.

On the Friday night when we were there, there was a fantastic Swiss folklore night, comprising yodel singing, a local orchestra and drum ensemble of the highest standard - all accompanied by excellent local beer and tasty bratwurst - fantastic.

Otherwise life at Camping Jungfrau is low key and a great base from which to explore the Jungfrau region and beyond.

The whole family is looking forward to our next visit.

Some very minor negative points for those visiting with young ones: 1) there is a very rapid river running past the property, with a low fence which would benefit from being covered with chicken wire for safety - just in case your toddler escapes your view for a brief second. 2) the site is also used by coach tours with students and young travellers from all over the world as they tour Europe. Most of these kids are great, but one or two are quite loud, brash and foul mouthed. We had an otherwise wonderful meal in the on site restaurant punctuated by an exuberant young lady from Australia who used a selection of expletives to describe to her friends just how ******* wonderful the ******* Rosti was. Indeed in was - but my kids didn't need to hear it!
