...just how awesome and powerful these falls were. As with most things in the alps, photos and videos don't do it justice. I'd seen it on Google and YouTube, but that didn't prepare me for how large and powerful these falls inside the mountain are.

“Wonderful valley hike to falls”
Reviewed July 19, 2013

We walked from the funicular/train station to the Trummelbach Falls. The walk took us through the town, passed several waterfalls, over a river and through the woods! A section of the walk went through farms. Several farms had signs encouraging hikers to stop in and taste their cheese/goods. We enjoyed the falls, but it wasn't as wonderful as the hike there! There is a house with a cafe, toilets, bus station, parking and small souvenir shop at the falls entrance. The elevator takes you up to level 7 of 10, you can walk up to the 10th level, or begin your descent from 7. You cannot see the falls from the ground as most of the amazing features are from the falls carving their way through the rock. Incline for elderly to elevator may be tough, however we saw all ages enjoying the site.

“Fantastic! Amazing!”

Wow this blew us away ...we were not expecting to see so much from inside a mountain. We found the lift very helpful and the man operating the lift was super friendly

“Beautiful!”
Reviewed July 16, 2013

We only happened to stop here as we were going to go up Piz Gloria but the weather at the top was cloudy so we decided not to go and we were recommended this place instead. What a find! The waterfalls are spectacular! You can take a lift up and down if you want, but we took a lift up and walked down. Watch your footing as the steps can get wet with the amount of spray being thrown up and it's worth having a sweater with you as it's much cooler inside the caves even when it's baking hot outside. There's a car park nearby and then a short walk to the entrance, Really glad we stopped here!

“Incredible power of water!”
Reviewed July 11, 2013 via mobile

These waterfalls actually made me a little scared at one point. The falls really proves the power and force of water. This establishment has done a fantastic job in placing all the viewing points (11 in all I think). It was 11 Francs to enter (exey, as always in Switzerland!) but worth the money.
NB: yes, you will get a little bit wet from the spray of the waterfalls, but it's not too bad.
