“Wow!!”
Reviewed June 23, 2013

An impressive water fall inside the mountain. Thunderous water, carved rocks, good views. It has all for an excellent excursion. The crowds can also be impressive on summer weekends. The bus from Lauterbrunnen stops at the entrance. Bring warm clothes and a raincoat, as it gets cold and wet in parts.

“Amazing to see”
Reviewed June 22, 2013

Very unique opportunity to see a roaring waterfall inside of a mountain. Take the lift at least one way, it is glass and takes you up through the inside of the mountain. Just a warning even if you take the lift you still have to climb a lot of stairs to see the upper waterfalls.

“Nature's Wonder”
Reviewed June 22, 2013

This was one of the best underground waterfalls I have ever seen. Must not miss this place if you are in surrounding area. Must go prepared with protection against water, preferably a windcheater or a light rain coat (umbrella will not help)

The cost is worth it. Very nice hiking around to view all the falls that are inside the mountain. Loved it

“Waterfalls inside a mountain???”
Reviewed June 19, 2013

Fabulous attraction, great to see the melt water from the Eiger, Monck and Junfrau thundering down the falls mostly inside the mountain. A lift takes you up to a natural outside platform, and from here you climb well lit steps up to waterfalls 7,8,9,and 10. Then retrace your steps to the platform for great views of the Lauterbrunnen valley. Then start down to waterfalls 6,5,4,3,2,1, some of which are outside the mountain but no less dramatic.
Prepare to be a bit splashed by the ice cold spray or water dripping from the cavern roofs.
You can of course walk up the whole way instead of taking the lift.
If travelling by bus remember that they stop running for a long lunch break, so check the times. There is a good restaurant between the ticket office and the road with excellent rest rooms. The walk back to Lauterbrunnen is well sign posted, and you can enjoy standing in the ice cold water just by the bridge across the road from Trummelbach, to sooth any aching feet.
