I visited in June and this experience was absolutely breathtaking. It was a sunny day and we would see beautiful rainbows formed across the water. Enjoyed the half day we spent there immensely. We tried all the view points (chutes) and most of them very stunning. It gets a little cold inside the caves, as it is basically glacier water rushing the caves. It might be difficult for kids and elderly to walk through it as the steps are steep and are slippery.

I have been to the falls three times now. Earlier in the year, around June when the water level is quite high, September when the water is still loud and forceful and now in October when it is relatively low. I enjoyed the October visit immensely as i was able see so much more of the rock features than previously. You should walk from the village and back as it is flat and easy and so scenic.

It was a great way to spend the morning, view from falls overlooking valley are spectacular. I suggest walking back into Lauterbrunnen --- you'll see lots of cow and sheep. We even saw some base jumpers. Easy flat work back, be sure to go by the church on your way into town as well.

A great sight to see waterfalls cascading down inside the mountain. There is a lift to transport people up and down to the base of the main falls if you don't fancy walking all the way. Definitely worth a visit.

We walked the valley to these waterfalls from Lauterbrunnen which I recommend because you pass fields with cows and sheep, its very tranquil. The waterfalls are amazing. They are quite loud due to the amount of water flowing from the glaciers. Each is different in its shape and the rocks around it. Lots of steps but you can go at an easy pace
