These Falls are truly remarkable. It is possible to walk up a path and get under the falls, this is a little tiring and a little wet. It is worth taking this short hike and then walk down the road opposite the falls to then understand the full height of the falls, approx. 300 metres! The water cascades down in sheets of water and unless you take the walk to the underside of the falls you do not appreciate the enormity of the water drop. Some good photographs can be obtained at this venue.

We arrived after a night of rain in the mountains. The falls were very powerful. The stairs permit close access to the falls. Be prepared to get very, very wet! Fabulous!

This is a wonderful short trip which you take make in the village of Lauterbrunnen. It involves walking up quite a steep incline, a few steps and you do get a bit wet ! The path takes you into the rock face and underneath the waterfall!
This is a free attraction and you should allow around 30 - 40 minutes for the round trip. Currently it is lit and open during the hours of 8am - 8pm.

Well laid pathway to hike up from Lauterbrunnen to the viewpoint of Staubbach Falls. Good pair of shoes and a waterproof jacket might be a bit of help. Be careful with Electronic gadgets as you will experience the spray from waterfall (Intensity of the spray will depend on the strength of the flow of water). Found few walking sticks for free to use in the entrance of the path towards the Falls. Forget not to leave it back after use for the others to be benefited.

Great experience and i absolutely loved it !

The height of the waterfall and the photo-oppurtunity to capture time-lapse pictures. It takes ten-shots (one shot per second) to capture one spray of water from being discharged till it ends in the plunge-pool.

There is a walkway to go behind the cascades around the plunge-pool. The thunderous roar of the powerful waters and the resultant spray will give your the 4-D experience. Bring your rain-wear that can take storms.
