This little cafe has a fun, relaxed, playful atmosphere, excellent sandwiches and pastries, and free wifi if you are a customer. The soups were outstanding. Food was on the pricey side but no more so than anywhere else in Switzerland, and offered a nice alternative to all the cheese-based dishes we had elsewhere. Very convenient to grab a fast lunch. Super friendly staff. Loved the cute rubber duckies they give you to time your internet usage and the chalkboard comments in the restroom. We did do our laundry here and used the self-service option which was, I think, 5 francs per each wash and 5 for each dry. Contrary to another poster, when we were there in June we did not have an issue using the self-service as opposed to having them do it for us. Nice but small couch seating area in the cafe where you can wait. Also they sell really cute, somewhat overpriced knit headbands & hats made by the manager's mom that were not only a great souvenir but came in handy since it was colder than expected.

We went paragliding with Airtime and as part of the price we got a voucher for a free drink so we decided to stop here afterwards for lunch and a bottle of beer each.

What a great little cafe, it's only small and was quite busy when we arrived but luckily there were some seats outside so we sat out and enjoyed great sandwiches followed by a slice of home made cake each.
My boyfriend had the Chocolate Brownie which he highly recommends and I had a slice of the banana and nut loaf which was yum!

We spent quite a while sat outside, taking in the mountain scenery and watching the helicopter come and go and would recommend stopping off here if you're visiting Lauterbrunnen.

Nice little cafe with great views up the valley and the mountains. Expensive, but Switzerland is in general! Good coffee and cake but the bakery down the road serves amazing fresh cake, pastries and bread and hot drinks which you can eat in or take away to enjoy the views and save a few pennies!

We went there for sandwiches - loved the grilled peppers on it. There was a long wait for sandwiches in the morning (you could drop off your order and come back in a while for the order) and they sold out of sandwiches sometime in the afternoon, but when we went at mid-day the service was fairly quick. The staff are both friendly and helpful.
