The best meal we had during our stay in Tavira - eating at this steak-house was a fantastic experience for our family. The service was attentive, the food outstanding and there was good attention to detail. Modern and colourful interior. A warning that it is a small restaurant and if you are a big party (over 4), I would advise you book in advance. Overall though, I would recommend to meat lovers and will be revisiting Taska if we return to Tavira.

“An amazing place!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 5, 2013

This small restaurant is the best one we visited during our stay, the 2 staff there are very friendly and the food is amazing, although very small (room for 16 people) the cozy atmosphere is nice with the air conditioning and as its inside you dont have to deal with mosquitos.

Would definitely recommend anyone visits this lovely restaurant!

“Best Steaks in Tavira”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 1, 2013

This is a great little restaurant specialising in sirloin steaks, chicken and pork. We tried the pork and sirloin steaks, as well as the mixed meat cooked on a stone. All were excellent and the sirloin steak is one of the best I have tasted.
A fantastic, intimate, restaurant.

“Very nice, very small, very... wannabe exotic. If this is what you want from a portuguese see town restaurant, you're welcome”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 26, 2013 via mobile

The place is surely nice. In a single room you'll find a few small table (conceived for couples mostly) all in an australian-like environment, from wooden crocodiles to snake skin menus... I still have to understand what this has to do with Tavira but, well, maybe for a change. The problem is the cook really has a weird idea of fusion. I didn't fancy the mozzarella with strawberries at all, the pork loin with shrimp sauce looked like it didn't know where it belonged, and my steak on the stone was a mini-version of a real one, and with pineapples (?!) on the side... It's not like I expected a Delmonico-style, but since the restaurant is deemed a steakhouse, I would definitely want more steak when I ask for it. Also, be aware (or happy, according to your familial situation) this is a toddler-friendly restaurant. So if little Amy starts shouting over a diaper change and you're trying to relax, this is not your place.
