We used this restaurant twice while in Tavira. The first time because it was the first one we came to and the price seemed very good !! The food is typical Portuguese which is great for me as that is what I go on holiday for. Main courses are usually about 10 euros. All the food we had was excellent quality. I had pork steaks the first time in a lovely sauce and a camplana of monkfish and prawns with rice the second time. This is one of the few places that does a camplana for one person. The service was always very good and both waiters spoke good English. The ouse wine, like in most of Tavira, was very good. Don't know why but the restaurant was never full - it was not in the main part of town maybe.... while you are there you will be amused by the car drivers going down the street and then realising it is blocked off at night. Then the ensuing chaos of multiple cars trying to reverse as another car comes down the road and wonders why he can't get past them... If you are not sure where it is go along Rua Da Liberdade (away from the river) and it is just past the Post Office, on the same side of the street.
