One of the best restaurants in Poland. Sophisticated, but still traditional. Polish food, with some nice international touch. The author of the menu - Wojciech Amaro - heads the very first Polish 1* Michelin restaurant - and this is clearly visible.
This is a star in the sky of Kazimierz, especially that the majority of competition offer a poor-quality pierogis and pizza...
- zrazy wołowe with mushroom dumplings and green peas. For beef lovers! My personal #1 in 2014.
- duck breast on a plum chutney
- onion soup
- zalewajka soup
Although they do have the children menu - and our younger son loved it, most of the kids I saw there were not too happy... and so did the parents. Too sophisticated for the pizza-and-hamburger style of the Polish contemporary so-called middle-class ?
A must-go when in Kazimierz.
