We stayed here for three nights on a three-week trip through the Peloponnese. We had looked at several options in Gefyra (the port) and decided on the Panorama largely because it was well away from the main road and other sources of noise. Our room was not large, but comfortable, and had a nice terrace overlooking the northern end of town. Everything was spotless. The bathroom was small, but functional - although a shower curtain would have improved functionality further. The hotel is a typical concrete construction, with the obvious downside of echoing corridors where sound travels easily. This was a problem only one morning though, when a tour group left the hotel well before the time we usually get up.
The owners are a nice couple who made us feel welcome right from the start. They even provided beach towels for us to take when we went swimming. Breakfast was buffet-style and perfectly adequate. We had the option of staying on a 'room-only' basis, but it was nice to sit on the restaurant terrace with a bite to eat and a cup or two of tea and to take in the magnificent view of the rock. We would probably stay here again if we came back to the area.
